House of Belamole 3d model Project
This was a fun project we did for House of Belamole, a luxury candle retailer. They wanted a 3D model of a minimalist pillar shaped candle, with their logo on. They had two sizes they wanted and they were looking for the logo to be raised out of the candle when it is pulled out of the mould.
We took their exisiting 2D logo and brought it to life as a 3D digital model. We then created the the two pillars to the clients specifications. Once the candle model was made to specification, we cut the logo into the mesh of the 3D model, raising it from the front of each candle, so that their was extra space for the wax to fill the logo outside of main mould faces. This meant the logo would be raised in 3D, coming out of the candle face when it is pulled out of the mould. Finally we took the care to adjust the models, to ensure they would print in a 3D printer.
We provided House of Belamole with the complete 3D candle mould files for printing in 3D. We also provided them with 3D logo asset and animation which they could use for their future marketing campaigns.
Above shows some of the 3D concept pictures, the modelling process as well as the final result in physical form.
